My name is Barb, I am the 3rd oldest Klinedinst in the 8th Generation. 
There are 16 - 8th generation cousins. Not counting stepchildren. Now add all our 
children (9th generation, which totals 17 without counting stepkids) and their 
children (4 so far) which make up the 10th generation of this family. This family has 
grown so much.  
  
       All the research started with our Aunt Kathyrn (Garrett Klinedinst). If there 
is a glue that holds a family together, she is the glue of the Klinedinst family and 
tries her hardest to keep everyone up to date and informed.  She is an amazing woman 
who I personally look up to. She did so much research it is just amazing. I have 
taken what she did and tried to make this website for our family to keep the 
information going. I can't even touch on all the information Aunt Kathryn has written 
down, I have just completed the main tree back to 1524. Aunt Kathryn has branched off 
so many times, maybe someday I will take the time to do everything she has 
researched. I love looking back and seeing where we came from, and I hope to pass it 
on to my grandchildren and their children and so on.
  I also have branched off on my mother's side, the Hengst family, that info was 
given to me by my cousin Janet Hengst Rubin. 
    And for my daughter and grandchildren, I have branched off the Myers family, and 
my second husband's family the Gross Family.
